KR Ship Recycling Industries There are more than 100 Ship Recycling yards in the region of Chittagong Ship Breaking Yard along with the 18 kilometres (11 miles) of Sitakunda coastal area. Among all of 100 ship breaking yards. KR Ship Recycling Industries is the biggest ship breaking Industry in this zone. The total area of this concern is about 28 acres of land, which is more than double from the nearer competitor in this region. As per NOC of Ministry of Industry KR Group placing the first position from 2014 amount the top ten ship breaking companies in Bangladesh.

The main concept of KR Ship Recycling Industries is to support the construction industry in Bangladesh by providing an economical substitute to imported steel products by way of direct use of plates and segments recovered from the discarded ships and providing raw materials as melting scrap for the production of deformed bars and lights sections. The company has the capacity to handle and cut the ships of total approximately 50,000 MT per month.
Form the beginning to now KR Group successfully cut more than 150 discarded ships. Total weight of these discarded ships was over 10,65,000 MT. We feel proud to announce that we have already signed Hong Kong Convention- Compliance Project to convert our yard to Green Yard with GSR Services, Germany.
